The vault itself isn't tucked away inside one of the main buildings. Instead, you need to head to the outskirts of the main dojo area. Specifically, make your way to the east side of the dojo. You'll find a set of stairs leading down. Descend them, and there it is: a massive, stone-sealed vault door glowing with an eerie blue light. That's your target.
Now, here's where it gets interesting. Unlike other vaults in the game that might need a Boss Medallion or a specific key card, this one requires a different approach. You can't just shoot the door open! The secret lies with a friendly NPC named Bushranger. This leafy fellow doesn't stay in one place. He spawns randomly at one of three possible locations around the perimeter of Nightshift Forest. You'll have to scout around a bit to find him. I usually check the wooded areas just north and south of the POI first.
Once you track down Bushranger, you'll discover he holds the key to the vault—literally. But he's not just going to hand it over. He wants to make a trade. The tricky part? He's not very clear about what he wants! His request is vague, which had me stumped the first time. After some trial and error (and a bit of community wisdom), I found the solution. You need to bring him a Sprite.
Here's the step-by-step process I follow every time:

Locate Bushranger around Nightshift Forest.

Note his trade request (even though it's cryptic).

Head to a nearby Sprite Shrine. These are the little glowing altars you find around the map.

Capture a Sprite. It doesn't matter if it's an Air Sprite or a Water Sprite, and the rarity isn't important either. Any Sprite will do!

Carry the Sprite back to Bushranger. Be careful not to get into a big fight on the way, or you might drop it!

Complete the trade. Hand over the Sprite, and he'll gratefully give you the Vault Key.
With the key in your possession, head back to that glowing blue door. Use the key, and the massive vault will rumble open, revealing the treasure inside. And let me tell you, the loot is absolutely worth the effort.
